Due to the recent success of the Coles Despatch office fitout in Kewdale, Western Australia, Inertia Projects was selected again to complete another fitout for the Coles Group, this time at their Distribution Centre in Laverton, Victoria.
This Design and Construct project was completed in only 23 days (1 day early) and was handed over with zero defects. The works included demolishing all internal walls, making good all ceilings, installing new LED lights throughout, removing old floor tiles and replacing with new, constructing 2x new Meeting Rooms, 80x new data points, new custom made reception benches and cabinets, painting throughout, mechanical system upgrades, fire sprinkler modifications, new glazed doors and internal windows, supply and installation of 18x new workstations and 7x large monitors (55”), window tinting and new roller blinds.

In late 2018, Inertia Projects was approached by the Coles Group to design and refurbish their Transport office at the Coles Distribution Centre in Kewdale, WA. Coles needed the office completely designed and refurbished within a compressed 8 week time frame and we successfully delivered this project under budget and ahead of program, despite the challenges of relocating more than 30 staff and working on a live operational site during Coles’ busiest month of the year (December, in the lead up to the busy Christmas shopping period).
