DANIEL BIRD

Daniel Bird is the Founder and Managing Director of Inertia Projects. Daniel is a registered and Chartered Building Professional with the Australian Institute of Building (MAIB), a registered building practitioner with unrestricted building licences in multiple states, a full member of the Australian Institute of Project Management (MAIPM) and a qualified commercial building designer.

Prior to commencing work with Inertia Projects, Daniel Bird was General Manager – Property & Development at Australian Capital Equity (ACE), Mr. Kerry Stokes AC’s private equity company, which holds a diverse portfolio of interests in property, mining, construction and media through its flagship companies Seven Group Holdings, Seven West Media and WesTrac.

In his role as General Manager, Daniel managed an industrial, commercial and residential property portfolio worth in excess of $400 million and was responsible for managing the group’s diverse range development and construction projects, property acquisitions, sales and leasing.

With close to 25 years’ experience in a wide range of design, property development and construction projects, Daniel’s skillset is unique. Daniel has successfully designed, managed and delivered a wide variety of projects, including large scale master planned industrial facilities, hotels, resorts, shopping centres, sporting complexes, service stations, mine site laboratories, offices, showrooms, warehouses, workshops, distribution centres, art storage facilities, heritage restoration works, office fitouts, upmarket residential homes and apartments.
